Gemana has a client-centred approach, which is where the client is placed at the centre of the service and treated as a person first. The focus is on the person and what they can do, not their condition or disability. There is a focus on achieving the person’s aspirations and be tailored to their needs and unique circumstances. Gemana puts focus on the clients’ needs, finding ways to help them to be independent in their home, in life, help them to go out into the community, be a part of the community, helps the clients with technology issues, and demonstrates how to do shopping online.
