Yesterday, our trainers prepared a training session that involved using a gantry hoist which is an overhead track system intended for the smooth transfer of participants from the bed to a wheelchair and vice versa. We have a number of participants in our care that have a physical disability that require hoist transferring multiple times a day.
Our in-depth training sessions ensure that every staff member is thoroughly equipped to meet all the support needs of all participants that they work with.
