I-Help Disability Services takes pride in serving the Canterbury community and its surrounding suburbs with our disability care and supported accommodation services. We are a registered NDIS provider that takes a compassionate approach with expertise and caters to the specific needs and goals of the participants with low and high level care needs.

At I-Help, we are dedicated to providing personalised disability services to meet the unique support needs of each participant. Our comprehensive range of services includes support coordination, assistance with daily activities, public transportation access, community engagement, and goal pursuit. We believe in customising our services to help participants maximise their NDIS plan benefits.

Our Canterbury Disability Care Services Include:

Supported Independent Living (SIL) Canterbury:

At I-Help, we are proud to offer Supported Independent Living (SIL) services to NDIS participants in Canterbury with SIL funding. Our SIL program provides the participants an opportunity to live independently in their own homes or shared accommodations located across Victoria. All of our SIL homes are well-maintained and can accommodate up to 4 residents, with a dedicated caregiver providing 24/7 onsite overnight assistance (OOA). We carefully match participants with compatible housemates based on their age, preferences, personality, goals, disability type, and other factors.

Our SIL services are available to all the participants residing in our SIL, ILO, STA, MTA and SDA properties. See all our accommodation vacancies here in Victoria.

We provide SIL services in all categories of SDA accommodation: High Physical, Improved Liveability, Fully Accessible, and Robust.

Our SIL Participants Will Receive Assistance And Supervision With The Following Tasks:

  • Cleaning & laundry
  • Cooking & nutrition
  • Showering, dressing and personal hygiene
  • Maintaining a household
  • Managing appointments
  • Taking up public transport
  • Taking medications
  • Accessing social and recreational events
  • Filling forms and managing communications
  • Financing and budget plans
  • Developing social skills
  • Shopping
