Hidden Disabilities Sunflower
Not all disabilities are visible. The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower is a simple way to let others know you may need extra support, patience, or understanding in public spaces, at work, or while traveling.
By wearing a sunflower lanyard, ID card, wristband, or pin badge, you can discreetly signal that you have a hidden disability and may need a helping hand.
There are hundreds of hidden disabilities, some examples of hidden disabilities include:
✅ Autism
✅ ADHD
✅ Aphasia
✅ Asthma
✅ COPD
✅ Crohn’s Disease
✅ Dementia
✅ Diabetes
✅ Dyslexia
✅ Epilepsy
✅ Tourette Syndrome
Wearing the sunflower isn’t about labels, it’s about creating a more inclusive and supportive community.
Sunflower lanyards, wristbands, and badges are available from Flinders Street (Customer Service Hub and InfoCentral) and Southern Cross or online at: hdsunflower.com/au
Metro Staff that wear the Sunflower supporter badge do this to show they are familiar with the program.
