Disability Support Worker (Casual)

The successful applicants will have:
- Certificate three in individual support or Certificate four in disability qualification of the same level or higher.
- Current First Aid/ CPR Qualifications
- Medication Competency Qualifications
- Manual Handling Certification
- NDIS Workers Screening Clearance
- Any relevant certifications such as an Accredited Diabetes Training, Epilepsy Training etc.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to liaise with a wide range of clients from diverse social, and cultural backgrounds.
- Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of the health and wellbeing needs of Clients and proven customer service orientation.
- Current drivers’ license and reliable motor vehicle (vehicle registered and comprehensively insured).
- Commitment to providing environmental and household assistance to clients in multiple areas of need including personal hygiene, grooming and physical movement, social participation.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage time.
- Proficient in use of electronic technology including smart phones, handheld devices, email and internet.
